I toured the Corvette factory when I was in Bowling Green. There was one shift running where there used to be two. The Cadillac line in the factory was shut down last March. I could not take pictures in the factory but could in the Corvette Museum.
It was fascinating to watch the line making the cars. The models were coming down the line mixed up and the parts for each model showed up as needed. There was a lot of work involved to see that the right car got the right part.
You can pick your Corvette up at the museum. The factory is across the street. There are two photos of people picking up their red Corvette.
