Rocky Mountain National Park
I am still in Denver visiting my son. I heard on the news last night that the aspens were changing color up in the high country so I decided to view the change in Rocky Mountain National Park. I found more than the color changing. The elk were out as mating season is about to begin and the ground squirrels are still getting fed along the pull-offs. There is a bore infestation in the pine forest and many of the evergreen trees are dead. You can see all of the dead trees in one of the pictures. It looks like there will be none left alive in a few years.
