Faroe Islands , Torshavn , Voyage of the Vikings
Hi again,
We have had another port today in the North Atlantic with another foggy night and fog horns, as we took on the harbor pilot we could hardly see the water but we docked here late and by noon the sun had started to burn off the mist and it a beautiful sunny day.
The town is about 15,000 and both old and new with turf roofed homes in the old city.
The fog rolls in every so often, this is a great and unique place to visit.
The sail away is late 8:30, hope to see a bit more of the surrounding islands and still looking for whales. The sun does not set until about 11. It has turned out to be a sunny warm day.
At sea tomorrow
Ellen
