We have had ice fog several times this winter. The trees are beautify when the fog coats them with ice. The nice thing is that the ice melts as soon as the fog lifts.

Tanyard Creek Nature Trail
After days of cold weather yesterday was a great day so I went for a hike on the Tanyard Creek Nature Trail here in Bella Vista. There was still a little ice left on some of the rock cliffs. I had hoped there was still some on the waterfall on the creek cut all had melted. The waterfall is a favorite for photographers when it snows but even with no snow it was worth a photo.

Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel
Once it warmed up enough to get out I went to see if there was still snow around Cooper Chapel here in Bella Vista. The chapel is an open design by E. Fay Jones (listed as one of the 10 must influential architects in the 20th Century) and built by the Cooper family. There was a little snow in front and more in the back of the chapel. I am posting pictures of both sides. If you are ever in the area come and visit this little chapel. It is open 9 to 5 every day and is often used for weddings.
