I went by Garvan Woodland Gardens on the way to Oaklawn. Spring is a wonderful time to visit and I got some great photos of the flowers.

Water, Water, Water

Throughout Garvan Woodland Gardens you hear the sound of running water. There are areas with ferns growing around small pools and several water falls.

Tulips at Garvan Woodland Gardens

I saw a sea of tulips on my visit to Garvan Woodland Gardens. About 70% of the tulips were blooming. They made a picture along several walkways. There were even tulips in the women's restroom.

Garvan Woodland Gardens

I am in Little Rock this week. Yesterday I drove over to Hot Springs to visit Garvan Woodland Gardens. I will be posting photos for the next few days. Today's post are photos from the train garden. Any time the trains are running there is an engineer there to prevent problems. One of the cars had broken loose and the engineer was reattaching it when I took the picture.

Garvan Woodland Gardens has a model train area. Several of my Great-Uncles worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad so I had to take and post this picture.
