Serenity Farm Bread

My trip was cut short by rain but I did visit a few places I want to share in the next few posts.

If you are ever on US 65 between Conway, AR and Russellville, AR be sure to take a right at Leslie, AR. Follow AR 66 for 3 blocks and stop at Serenity Farm Bread. Here you can buy Old World Sourdough bread baked in a brick oven. You can stand and watch the bread being taken out of the oven and I arrived as fresh County French Sourdough loaves were being removed and placed on cooling shelves. Made the old fashioned way with natural leaven, organic unbleached white flour, organic whole-wheat flour, organic unbleached malted four, filtered water and unrefined sea salt County French is one of my two favorites to purchase at Serenity Farms. Serenity Farm’s Focaccia is the other. Those are just two of the breads you can find at Serenity Farm Bread. Breads baked at Serenity Farm Bread are why bread is called the staff of life. If you are in the area don’t miss this special treat. I stopped twice on this trip; once on the way and once on the way back.
