I visited both museums yesterday. Admission to both is free. The History Museum has numerous exhitibs that highlight North Carolina and was worth the visit. Outside the entrance were statues of three people who played a part in North Carolina History.
The Natural Science Museum has displays from each section of North Carolina. The costal exhibit includes the skeletons of large whales hanging from the ceiling. Other areas of the state are represented by lifelike displays. As it was Saturday the Museum was filled with families with small children enjoying the exhibits.
